Learn about Our Program

Women at Transformation Garden

Our Mission

The Transformation Garden (TG) is a branch of Grace and Mercy Ministries of The Anchor Church. Through a Christ-centered residential program, we offer help, hope and healing to adult female survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking.

Our hearts were burdened as we learned about the scourge of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking in our nation, state, and local area.

We learned of the severe national deficit in housing and restorative care options for these victims. We resolved to move forward as God continued to reveal His plan.

He has been faithful in bringing about partnerships with local churches, businesses, ministries, and individuals who desire to help and be a part of the solution. To God be the glory!

Our Model of Care

The principles that are found in the Bible are foundational to the Transformation Model of Care. The driving force of our care model is a Christ-like love that is informed about complex relational trauma and complex sexual trauma.

We do acknowledge disease processes, however, they are not the driving force surrounding our program. We understand that the impact of sexual exploitation is five fold and our aim is to provide help, hope and healing to all five areas: physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual.

The women that we serve are those who have had a history of being forced, deceived, manipulated or threatened into participating in a sexual act that resulted in payment. That payment may be in the form of cash, rent, drugs or anything else of monetary value.

We encourage peer support and empowerment through celebration of victories, strength building and offering choice. We assist our residents by aiding them in emotional regulation, encouraging new patterns of thinking and giving them new coping skills to handle the long lasting effects of sexual trauma.

Behind the name: fix the Biblical reference to read correctly on webview, not sure how it looks on mobile view.

Women at Transformation Garden

A Sanctuary for Healing and Restoration

At the Transformation Garden, we believe in the power of healing and renewal for adult female survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Established with a deep commitment to serve, our organization provides a safe and nurturing residential program that emphasizes Christ-centered values. We recognize that each survivor's journey is unique, shaped by a variety of experiences and challenges. Our team is dedicated to offering personalized support to help women reclaim their identities and build brighter futures.

Our holistic approach combines spiritual guidance, therapeutic counseling, and practical life skills training, creating an empowering environment where women can heal emotionally, mentally, and physically. We understand that recovery is a multifaceted process, and we prioritize the individual needs of each participant in our program. At the Transformation Garden, we strive to cultivate a community of acceptance, understanding, and hope, fostering relationships that encourage personal growth and resilience. Together, we aim to transform lives, one step at a time.

Behind the Name

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

"It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that God makes the seed grow."
(1 Corinthians 3:7).

Real Stories of
Transformation and Freedom

“If it wasn’t for God placing TG in my life, I would be lost, alone, and with no second chance at life. Death to life, that is what I would tell them. I now have family and friends and I am back on my feet. Lives change here because I personally see it everyday.”
"I was a hurt little girl worn out and tired from running. I didn’t know what to do. Transformation Garden scooped me up and walked me through this journey of healing - fighting beside me for my freedom.”
“One year into my healing, I began working with the after-school tutoring program and a children's choir. I have developed a passion and a love for this community and children.”
“I have learned who Jesus is and His love and forgiveness. The women God put here to disciple me, show me what love and family is supposed to be and how to live with integrity and honor.”
